чудовий та цікавий гід українською мовою в Стокгольмі Марія Бєлая

Hi! My name is Mariia Bielaia, and my team of awesome guides and I will help you fall in love with Stockholm just as deeply as we have. This won't be a boring lecture full of dates and numbers. It'll be a walk through the city with a friend who knows where to find the best cinnamon coffee (fika!), where to spot Carlson’s rooftop, and how to uncover the secrets of Swedish royalty.

Why choose our tours?

Engaging for both adults and kids!

We are official guides who are native Ukrainian speakers. But above all, we are your guides to the Swedish way of life. Our tours feature insider routes, captivating stories, and incredible facts. We won't just show you the main sights—we'll also peek into those hidden Gamla Stan courtyards that tour groups usually skip.

Why choose Stockholm for your next trip?

Stockholm isn't just another European capital. It's a city where you breathe in sea air even right downtown, and instead of traffic noise, you often hear seagulls calling. Here, cozy comfort (lagom — the Swedish take on hygge) can be felt in every window glowing with lights.

A City on Water: The Uniqueness of the Swedish Capital

Imagine 14 islands connected by bridges, scattered right where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. The water here is so clean that you can swim right in the city center during summer and fish for salmon in winter. It creates an incredible atmosphere of openness and freedom.

A blend of royal history and modern design

Swedes masterfully blend history with futurism. In the morning, you can admire gold-plated carriages at the palace, and just an hour later, you can be sipping coffee in a minimalist café where the furniture looks like contemporary art exhibits.

Top 5 tours you can't miss

Stockholm city tour: From Old Town (Gamla Stan) to the best viewpoints

We’ll start in the Old Town (Gamla Stan), where Stockholm first began. Here we have the Royal Palace, the tiny Iron Boy statue, the city’s narrowest alley, runestones, legends of Sweden’s very first Cinderella, and tales of kings and tyrants. Literally every cobblestone here breathes history! It’s an area that genuinely fascinates everyone, from toddlers to great-grandmothers.

After that, we’ll head over to the much less touristy island of Södermalm. Vogue magazine actually named it the third coolest neighborhood in the world! Söder is often called Stockholm’s Brooklyn or hipster island. Today, it’s a bohemian district filled with preserved historic quarters of 16th and 17th-century wooden houses, alongside steep streets where early cars used to be tested. And, of course, it offers breathtaking views across the entire city!

This is just a flexible framework, though. We can adjust the route based on your interests and plans before or after our walk — starting and ending wherever is most convenient for you!

The Royal Palace and the Changing of the Guard ceremony

The walls of this palace have seen everyone from Princess Diana and Ronald Reagan to Leonid Kuchma.

Let’s step inside the grand reception rooms, dive into royal gossip, and talk about the historic tragedies that shaped an entire nation! We’ll start with the remains of the medieval Three Crowns (Tre Kronor) Palace, find out how it burned down during the reign of Charles XII, and see who the king hired to build the new one.

The sparkle of diamonds in the state rooms won't distract us from spotting the Swedish royal order presented to the President of Ukraine or talking about the palace ghosts. Queen Silvia herself said she’s met them here, and who are we to doubt her?

Finally, from the rooms still used for state affairs today, we’ll descend into the vaults where the royal treasures are kept!

Екскурсія до музею корабля Васа в Стокгольмі

Vasa Museum: Secrets of a sunken 17th-century flagship

Imagine a lavishly carved floating palace – that’s exactly what the Vasa ship was intended to be, built to carry the King of Sweden into war against his cousin, the King of Poland. But before this mighty warship could even cover a single kilometer, it brought total embarrassment to the entire country by sinking! A true Titanic before the Titanic!

It lay on the seabed for exactly 333 years until it was raised to become a crown jewel of Swedish history. This is one of those places that gives you a genuine WOW moment — and you won't see anything like it anywhere else in the world! That’s why I highly recommend booking our tour of the Vasa!

Stockholm subway: The world’s longest art gallery

Is the Stockholm subway more beautiful than Kyiv’s “Zoloti Vorota”? You can tell me your verdict at the end of our tour!

One thing I can guarantee — Stockholm's cavernous cave-like stations won't leave you indifferent! Together with me, you’ll see echoes of the Chornobyl disaster alongside children's drawings, and learn how shifting Swedish social values were reflected in art and architecture.

Plus, we’ll check out 1970s wall comics, spot where an artist hid a portrait of his grandmother at one of the stations, and uncover many, many other secrets of the Stockholm underground!

Visiting Karlsson and Astrid Lindgren in Vasastan

In the Vasastan district, we’ll follow in the footsteps of Sweden’s favorite storyteller, Astrid Lindgren. Here you’ll see where Pippi Longstocking came to life and spot the very roof where Karlsson lives (we don't climb onto the roof itself, but see it clearly from below!).

Along the way, we’ll talk about the local Haunted House and the real events in Swedish history that inspired many of her stories. We’ll reminisce about ABBA, pop up to a viewpoint with a magical sight over a 'sea of rooftops,' and catch a glimpse in the distance of the palace where Charles XII spent his childhood — and in whose park Astrid used to walk with her children. And, of course, we’ll chat about all the little things that make Sweden one of the best countries in the world for raising kids.
